Sponsorship and Donor Opportunities

Your support is appreciated!

This is going to be a very exciting year in Winnipeg. The Cultural Capitals of Canada is a national program funded by the federal government through Canadian Heritage, to recognize and support Canadian municipalities for special activities that harness the many benefits of arts and culture in community life. As the producing organization, the Winnipeg Arts Council is presenting this program on behalf of the City of Winnipeg. The theme of the Winnipeg Cultural Capital of Canada year is ARTS FOR ALL.

The total budget for the Winnipeg Cultural Capital of Canada Campaign is $3,981,026. Canadian Heritage has agreed to provide 75% of the funds, up to $2 million dollars. The rest of the funding will come from the City of Winnipeg, the Provincial government, and corporate and private sector sponsorships. We have so much planned as a part of our ARTS FOR ALL project.. Each event and program has its own sponsorship levels and benefits, but there will be logo recognition on print materials, website links, and opportunities for signage and tables at appropriate events. There are many ways to be involved and opportunities to promote your company as a sponsor. If one of our projects is in line with your sponsorship goals, please contact Alix at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or call 943-7668 and we will be happy to send you a package specific to that event, or talk about what you will need to proceed.

The following are high volume events, where your brand would reach thousands of people. Depending on the sponsorship amount, arrangements can be made to have a presence at most of these events, in addition to logo recognition on promotion materials:

The River Barge Festival

Dance on Broadway

The Winnipeg International Cello Festival

Close Encounters: International Exhibition of Contemporary Indigenous Art

We are also planning some events that will have a significant impact on the community, and will be very good opportunities to show support. There will be ample logo recognition and public relations opportunities associated with these programs:

City Stories

North End Community Art Centre
