CBC Radio has twice featured Tracy on live radio broadcasts, Red Road Music and Future Sound Of Native Canada. The Ojibwa Songstress received “Women of Note” recognition in Winnipeg Women Magazine.

An inspiring and engaging speaker, Tracy reminds us to recognize and honor our gifts/talents. She travels across North America to connect with the youth through her musical workshops. She supports a brighter future through presentations to the youth, often with her partner J. C. Campbell. “We focus on self-esteem, positive relationships, song writing and performing”, Bone explains. “Building an arts program in my community, host fundraisers for a recreation center for the youth. Take the vision and expand. I’d like the youth to be hands on, so they can be proud of their work and contributions for the next generation.

His debut CD “Life Up Til Now” was embraced by the Canadian Aboriginal Music Award Committee and garnered a double nomination for the acoustic album in the “Best Folk and Best Country Album” categories.

Lazy James spins ten original tracks. The Country Blues Recording Artist charted in at 1 on CFBX 92.5 FM in Kamloops B.C. for 4 weeks in the specialty charts under Blues and reached the second spot on the top 30 charts.A number 1 spot was also achieved at NCI-FM radio in Winnipeg M.B. with “Keep on Tryin”, a song inspired by JOE DIRT. No, its really a song of encouragement. In addition to charting on college campus radio, he was given the thumbs up from Country Recording Artist/Actor, Mark Collie after he performed it at a rehearsal for a shared gig. Mark told him “I don’t hear too well, but I know I hit when I hear one and that’s a hit!”

In 2007, a trip to Nashville, TN. and good “Fortune” led him to co-write with Nashville Hit Songwriter and Chief Creative Officer of Ole’ Music Publishing Gilles Godard, who has written hits for Terri Clark, Patty Loveless and Tracy Byrd to name a few.

2008 Songwriting Workshop led by the incomparable Buffy St.Marie was organized by the Aboriginal Music Program. J.C. was one of five Songwriters to be invited to share their original material.

With uniquely expressive vocals, every J.C. Campbell song stirs up undeniable emotion. Performing on the North American stage provided inspiration to write his third album, anticipated release late 2010/early 2011.

J.C. writes to vent, heal, encourage and stir the emotions that many of us suppress.
