My City’s Still Breathing: A symposium exploring the arts, artists and the city
November 4-7th, 2010
Winnipeg, Manitoba - Cultural Capital of Canada 2010

This exciting symposium will gather international experts to deliberate and debate the current and future relationships of art and design to city-making. The documentation of this symposium will be published as a Cultural Capitals legacy event - an important contribution to urban development in Canada.

The dynamic lineup of speakers, artists and presenters for this conference keeps growing. Find all the confirmed participants here. Conference fee for all four days is $350. Individual days are $150. Student and group rates are available.

We are now taking reservations for the "My City's Still Breathing Symposium".

To register two things are required: a completed registration form and payment, with the exception of Students who must also include proof of valid student identification.

Payment is to be made in Canadian funds only. Personal cheque, bank draft or money order payable to the Winnipeg Arts Council can be mailed in with your Registration Form. Payment can also be made through PayPal (the only credit card option) by clicking on the link below. If you are via PayPal, the registration form can be submitted separately via mail, fax or email.

Group rates are available!

A group is two or more people from the same organization. The first person pays the Full Registration Fee, and every additional person pays Regular Fee minus 10%.

C.V. (maximum 3 pages)

Cover Letter explaining how attending the conference will benefit your practice (maximum 1 page)

Artists of all disciplines are encouraged to apply.
