Larry Updike - Host of Up to Speed on CBC Radio One 89.3 FM / 990 AM

Larry Updike is one of Winnipeg’s best known and most respected radio personalities and journalists.

Larry is very well known to Manitobans as the host of a variety of radio formats from talk and information shows, to music programming; from drive-home shows to mornings. In 2009, he was inducted into the Broadcasters Association of Manitoba Hall of Fame recognizing his significant accomplishments in the broadcasting industry.

Larry Updike will be the new host of Up to Speed starting Tuesday, Sept. 7.

“I am very excited to be part of the CBC family,” Updike said.

Up to Speed airs weekdays from 3 to 6 p.m. on CBC Radio One 89.3 FM / 990 AM.
