In anticipation of a solo exhibition in 2011 at La Maison des Artistes Visuels Francophone in St. Boniface, Manitoba, Myre proposes The Forgiveness Project (Pardoner Moi), a new open-ended art project where people anonymously send via email, post or online comment, things (ideas/words) they would like to be forgiven for. With these collected words (and her own) Nadia Myre will work with a printmaker/typographer to create printed lists of words and ideas documenting what people seek forgiveness for.
Texts/words can be sent in anonymously or not. All languages are welcome, however they must accompany translations if they are not in English or French.
